How every donation can help:
Money to support education and training helps Friends of Hlekweni to invest in Zimbabwe’s young people now, giving them the skills and confidence to be self-sufficient and to contribute to their communities in peaceful and sustainable ways. All grants are made in collaboration with local contacts, particularly Quakers.
£20 ($30) pays for an orphan child to attend school for one term.
£1000 ($1500) will fund a student in secondary boarding school for one year.
A regular standing order will provide continuity and help us to our maintain our work in this needy area.
